I’ve had pretty good success so far and each track I’ve been making has the same weight and punch of the original track I had created - even though I was changing the key, tempo, and making adjustments here had there. I was so happy with the mix, that I saved the session as a template and have now been trying to write more songs with the same 3 elements holding things together, and then adding a couple additional instruments here and there (electric guitar, piano, pads, etc). On top of that, there were two complementary guitar parts hard-panned L & R. The whole thing anchored around 3 main elements - an acoustic drum kit VST, bass guitar, and organ.

Hey everyone - I recently was creating a song and got REALLY lucky where the mix just sounded KILLER, better than anything I’d previously pulled together in 15 years of music making. Edit: y’all’s responses have got me particularly inspired today, thank you everyone for your feedback and inputs! Will be replying throughout the day.
